JetBlue announces major expansion of Boston flights

JetBlue today announced a 30% increase in Boston departures by next summer, 2010.  JetBlue’s growing base operations in Boston by next summer will be comprised of 78 daily flights to 33 destinations with over 1,300 crew members in the area.

The new schedule will include the following:

• 2 additional daily flights to Chicago-O’Hare (total of 3)
• 2 additional daily flights to Raleigh-Durham (total of 3)
• 1 additional daily flight to Baltimore/Washington (total of 5)
• 1 additional daily flight to Charlotte (total of 3)
• 1 additional daily flight to Denver (total of 2)
• 1 additional daily flight to Ft. Lauderdale (total of 4)
• 1 additional daily flight to San Diego (total of 2)
• 1 additional daily flight to San Francisco (total of 2)
• 1 additional daily flight to Washington Dulles (total of 7)
• 4 additional weekly flights to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (total of 7 weekly or 1 daily)
• 1 new weekly flight to Montego Bay, Jamaica
