United to add Lagos, Nigeria; Accra, Ghana; and Bahrain to their network in 2010

United Airlines has announced a spring International expansion into three new countries.  United will fly non-stop between Washington Dulles Airport, their east coast hub, and Accra in the western African nation of Ghana.  From there, the Boeing 767 will fly on to Lagos, Nigeria.  The return flight to Washington Dulles will stop again in Accra, Ghana.

Additionally, United will commence non-stop flights between Washington Dulles Airport and Kuwait City, Kuwait with continuing service to Bahrain.  The current flight to Kuwait does not operate to Bahrain.  The Boeing 777 will be used on this flight service. 

The flights to Accra, Ghana and Lagos, Nigeria will begin on May 2, 2010 and the flight to Bahrain will begin on April 18, 2010.
