JetBlue will launch new service to their next Caribbean destination by adding Punta Cana on the northeast side of Dominican Republic. Daily flights will operate from New York JFK Airport and weekly flights on Saturday’s will fly between Boston and PUJ.

JetBlue today announced a 30% increase in Boston departures by next summer, 2010. JetBlue’s growing base operations in Boston by next summer will be comprised of 78 daily flights to 33 destinations with over 1,300 crew members in the area.

American Airlines, seeing a threat from both JetBlue and AirTran, has announced the addition of Washington Dulles flights to and from San Juan, Puerto Rico.
