WestJet adds Atlantic City, NJ

WestJet, the 2nd largest airline in Canada and the biggest low-cost airline in that country, launched flights today between Toronto and Atlantic City, New Jersey.  Initially the flights will operate four-times weekly and will increase to daily beginning in January.

Southwest continues assault against Frontier in Denver

Southwest Airlines has announced yet another expansion of flights in Denver in their continued assault against Frontier.  Southwest bid to take-over and eliminate Frontier as a competitor earlier this summer, but failed in the attempt.  This expansion is evidence of Southwest’s being upset at the result of that failed attempt.

Southwest Airlines, on the heels of American Airlines reductions in St. Louis, has announced new service there.  Southwest will add nine daily flights to six new destinations from St. Louis.  The new flights will begin in May and will be available for sale sometime this December.
